I wanna get into playing/making music. I'm planning on getting and learning to play an electric bass from my grandfather because he knows how to play one and was even in a band at one point. The thing that gives it the really melodic sound is a plugin called Chroma, it's like 20$ and I'm not really sure how it works. Its like pitchmap but better, Check it out if you're into that. The bass is resampled so I could chop it up and make cool glitchy rhythms. It has a lot of foley layering for texture, glass breaking sound effects and water streams. Everything else is harder to explain, but you just have to sink a lot of hours into it and figure out sound selection.
