I started lurking on the site around the same time. Perhaps because I never truly understood qway culture, I’m not as repulsed by nusois, but I still miss those earlier times like operation 9/11 when the site felt like it had a strong collective identity and I felt like I was contributing to it.

Now it just feels like 4chan, but with balding men with glasses, and forced lingo. The new users don’t help the site flourish instead they only contribute to its stagnation. Meanwhile the current janny team seems to only care only about web traffic and protecting the status quo. I genuinely hope 'jakking will be revived one day whether It's on the sharty or not.
