/soy/ - Soyjaks

I have yet to see one (1) argument against this that isn't "ban anything I don't like" strawmanning or HTSMcord troons throwing a fit.

WHY THOUGH?
Despite what I said earlier, I can actually understand why some would be against banning things simply because a good portion of the userbase doesn't like seeing it. After all, if Soot had that mindset from the beginning, Cobson would probably never take off, to name one example, and soy culture would remain stagnant. But the difference is, HTSM spammers have zero interest in actually posting anything of good quality or value to the site. Frogposters are an old Kway staple, and furthermore put out OC and start new trends in the soysphere regularly, despite past controversies like the clitty or people like Big Nigger Lips Lee and the actual Nusoilclucks who get mad and fall for frog bait. HTSM spammers meanwhile do nothing but demoralize, spam the same borderline Slopjak 'ru namefag slapfight tier coal, and derail actual good threads.
Frankly, I see little reason to treat these people any better than disruptive offsiters, and that's being charitable and assuming the majority of HTSM spammers aren't actually offsiters. Even fucking Lennonjak spammers contributed more to the Sharty than HTSM trannies. The way I see it, here's the pros and cons of banning HTSM as a variant or even just IP banning the clique who constantly spams it.
PROS:
>Would make way for more OC and gemmy threads with less fear of coordinated derailment attacks
>Former HTSM posters may get more inventive and post more varied content
>Would staunch the slowly increasing stagnation and decline that the 'Sharty may be facing
>/soy/ would likely become more IAS centric (HTSM IS NAS, he has hair, no beard, and no glasses.
CONS:
<May set a precedent for soyteens to beg for anything they don't like to be banned
<May result in a 'hydra situation', where new coal to replace HTSM as demoralizing bait will be pumped out.

The state of the 'party
Don't get it mixed up, despite what I've said, I in now way think the sharty is on some downward spiral nor do I think we're entering some type of dark age. I've been around since around right after the Matomo controversy during the Soot era, and even before that I was a Kway user and would frequently soypost on the 'cuck. I can say with confidence that aside from the Soypocalypse (no shit),the worst period of Sharty history was the Kuz era, after all the vanity stuff when /soy/ was left to rot with constant dust storms and 'p spam. NNN was one of the gemmiest things to come out of /soy/ and I was laughing my ass off keeping up with Giga Quest. This site is undoubtably a gem, it just needs to be polished and have the grime wiped away. Thank you for coming to my ted talk or whatever, also please ban HTSM Quotecord
