I would assume xhe lives to the north of Brisbane, or in Brisbane, because xhe can't afford the Gold Coast, but yet the beaches were destroyed near where xhe lived, when Cyclone Alfred had very limited impact on Bribane due to the surrounding islands largely protecting it.
So either A: xhe lives in an area of Brisbane City affected, B: Xhe lives veeery close to the coast in the north of Brisbane or C: Xhe lives on the funny islands
