More accurately it would be depicted as literally "throne"-like in appearance, being a physical glowing chariot in which God was said to be riding. The oscillating wheel are originally described as normal chariot wheels, and the "eyes" refer to the metal rivets which would line chariot wheels of the time. Most if not all of the biblically accurate angels are Lovecraftian redesigns done by redditors with no reference or interest in depicting biblical entities correctly. The "biblically accurate" name is more proof that the whole concept is mainly intended to subvert the commonly accepted image of angels as human figures with wings.
