Because he's too much of a gem for the normgroids to even use, and he doesn't even look very soy-like.

first off, he's used for self-inserting, a la pepe. he looks too masculine to mock actual soyboys or other similar types. that's why you only really see cobsons without the classic soy gape, because not even nophono self-inserts as an actual soyboy.

this doesn't really serve any purpose outside of the soysphere as it only confuses who see soyjaks solely as negative caricatures. when cobson does get used like a typical soyjak, it tends to warrant unwanted attention from 'teens sperging out in the comment section about their favorite in-joke showing up in the wild, which some would rather avoid.
