It really just depends, using some of these sites and having actual social contacts/friends you connect through it with makes it reasonably fine to like insta and such. Even reddit seems semi reasonable depending on how you use it, though I find the userbase insufferable by and large no matter what. If you are just doomscrolling though, you are damned.
