>>86094 (OP)Even then, clittycels, foids, and most normalfags don't put the effort of reading text/political writings and studying theory/philosophy, and simply parrot what the echochamber they allocate their attention to in their spare time says, and determine their ideology from a quote. It was this ignorance that I observed in high school, at family reunions, and at university that motivated me to study political science in my free time. Ever since then, hearing the aforementioned talk about politics is not intimidating, but more so bothersome.
<reddit spaceThis has been amplified by the internet, but I imagine this was an issue pre-internet. In the past (the past is established up until 1945), that if you wanted to get into politics, you would put effort into studying and reading political philosophy (i.e. essays, lectures, and manifestos), which involved patience and discipline that most lack today. Whereas now, politics has been reduced to being seen as "based" or "destroying [opposer]". With like you mentioned, the internet has discharged people of any degree of nuance, instead of viewing politics as a spectrum, they view politics as extremely binary. I find individuals such as Charlie Kirk, Hasan Piker, Nick Fuentes, and other prominent names to be those who attributed to this mentality, and as a result find repulsive. I also dislike that the approach and attitude to politics now involved little discussion about philosophy and ideas, but simply discussing drama about people and events that have happened multiple times in history before. I also find Asmongold and Paul Joseph Watson to be indifferent from the news media that they criticize, their daily uploads are the same "People have had enough", "People are noticing", "It's worse than you think". No thought provoking content, just content that manipulates the emotions of people ("react don't think" mentality).
