There was a niggerhellish side to the old internet too, stuff like old 4chan and/b/, edramatica, endless edgy forums dedicated to what modern larpercore 'corders do
Modern social medias have centralized information making it accessable as possible which is a good thing if you're using the internet for useful stuff like learning skills and such
