do you find competitive stuff fun or unpleasant

 â„–81937[Quote]

i dont play online multiplayer games because it just feels like your efforts are in vain especially considering how the game servers can shut down any day

I don't like most competitive things. I never play ranked mode in games because Im not enough of a goy to care about some digital temporary rank that resets ever couple months, and I hate the feeling of "having" to play a certain game to retain a rank even if I don't feel like playing it.

Competitive stuff irl sucks too, I like learning and stuff and people have told me I was smart in school but I never do that great on exams because I hate sitting down and re-learning the same shit a million times and learning mark schemes.

I'd much rather play games where I can see long term progress, the 'craft is pretty fun for that reason because you can work towards building a large project. For learning I would much rather learn at my own pace and learn things the way I want to, school sucks at teaching in an engaging way and always goes on forever about the most boring SNCA details

people love to grate on the people who say school just trains you into becoming a conformist, and whilst quite a lot of those who say this are, quite actually retarded, there is certainly a subset of people who don't do well in school despite being autistic savants or something similar
I would characterise myself as one of those people, but I think that the current education system is the best because it is effective for the most people. I don't think it's reasonable to cater to every single specialised need (both with negative and positives)

depends. i really liked team sports as a kid, but any individual competition feels tiring to me.
i like having a singular task to focus on in a team
additionally with team sports you share in the wins and losses and that feeling is far better than failing or succeeding alone, but i cant really articulate it any better.
i doubt theres any 'winning' as an individual at all, theres always someone better, and if there isnt, then i guess winning can only mean humiliating others
unfortunately i quit football (soccer) at twelve

In real life i avoid it because i get angry at my friends or whoever im playing
I dont play competitive videogames because i also get angry and im tring to lower my cortisol or however the 'tok meme is regurgigated

I just realized everybaldi in this thread is low t including me because as a moid youre supossed to like competition

Yes.
It feels really good being best at something. I used to play clash royale a lot, before I got bored of it. When I did I was the best in my friendgroup, the go to guy to 1v1 if you felt confident enough. I was actually top 100 in my esl country for a while.
I think this just goes with mastering something to the bone, knowing all the tricks and mechanics and just perfecting yourself. It feels really nice.
For me it weren't just games but I guess hobbies or things in general, I used to obsess over all sorts of stuff, I can think of tanks as a recent example, before that it was 20th century history, before that some animation troonslop.
Right now I am grinding a different game, as well as a real life skill that is actually useful, but the drive is still the same - I want to be the best I possibly can at it and know the most about it.

With the amount of plastic in everbaldi's blood its possible

(((Though))) I have yet to find a competition I have cared enough about. As a caca I was shit at sports and always one of the last picks for a team, so being competitive would have led me to rageing out at my own incompetence.
Currently I run, I am the worst out of the people around me, but I get some positive feeling out of knowing that there are people better than me at running, who just don't because they are a lazy cunt. At least I went to the effort of pushing myself, and didn't sit at home all day.

Looking back to when I was about 13/14, most of the criticisms of school are the most goy things ever.
"When are we going to use this later in life" - is a super common one early teens parrot forever, in combination with "Why won't school teach us about taxes".
<skibaldi
If school taught only things you would use at a job, and taught shit like taxes, I guarantee people would be even more bored, and then instead of school partially being something that indoctrinates you into good cattle for the jews, and otherwise shows you interesting parts from a variety of topics to expose you to as many things as possible so maybe you can find a niche you are good at and enjoy, it would purely be training for goycattle.
My main criticism with school would be excessive work to be done at home, because that detracts from time you could be spending on personal interests and is just trying to teach you that your time is meaningless and you are never free, even in your own home.
