It depends, really. If you want a more literal translation, go for the KJV, NASB, or even the LSV.
If you want something that falls between a literal translation and a paraphrase, go for the NIV or ESV, or the CSB and NLT if you prefer a more paraphrased reading. Pretty much any translation will do, as long as it stays close to the original manuscripts.
