How do you deal with the feeling of getting overwhelmed , and feeling like a complete retard when trying to learn or study anything. I feel like if I spent 888888 years reading the books and watching lessons my peanut retard brain could not comprehend even 1% of what I want to know. I just keep finding more and more incomprehensible information , and then giving up and doing nothing. I've already lost years of time because of this. What should I do.

I signed up for CS classes because it was the most hyped up raisin but almost immediately started realising that I'm not built for this , I still want to learn but my mental state makes me give up too easily, and I have to go back and learn like 2 years worth of material that I missed , I keep thinking stuff like "it's too late" and "i'll never learn anything in a lifetime"

Do you think you have analysis paralysis or something? It seems like you are getting overwhelmed by trying to learn everything about CS at once (i think).

When I started learning to draw, I got overwhelmed because I was worrying about learning perspective and then anatomy and then line of action and then whatever the fuck. Eventually I gave up trying to learn everything at once and just started making small relatively simple drawings, without worrying if I knew 100% how I was going to make the drawing or if it would come out looking good.

If I was learning CS I would start by making 1 tiny project and then building up from there, not try to learn 2 years worth of knowledge all at once. Does this help?
