This is the kind of post that just reeks of a manchild. Why is having responsibility a bad thing? How is romance when you're a child any better than when you're an adult with responsibilities? If anything, navigating adult life with the one I love seems massively more fulfilling to me than fucking around with dumb puppy love as teenagers.
I've never understood this romanticization of childhood. When I was a child, I felt that life would be better when I was an adult, and I was right.
