What's the most effective way to study for exams? I'm getting nigger tier grades at my school for wasting too much time on this site

it depends on what type of subjects you're learning but im guessing you're asking about the most important lucrative but hard subjects which is STEM.
The two best soyentific methods are active recall and spaced repetition.
So active recall just means practice, not just passively read or summarize or watch lectures. But to ur homework, assignments and practice tests to the best of ur abilities so ur forced to pull information from ur brain which is the best way to learn. Practice assignments, homework and practice/mock tests for math, but for conceptual stuff u need to memorize like biology, use flashcards
Spaced repetition just means practice regularly and never stop practicing it over a period of time so u dont forget it. Forgetting is an underestimated but potent enemy of learning

My momma send me to a "University" but it's actually more like a evolved high school except it focuses more on language ie (English/Spanish) and economics so I can get a better testimony. The other subjects are normal except i don't I study natural science.

>economics
I have no idea about studying economics but i would guess its a mix of problems you have to practice doing like math but conceptual things you have to memorize like geography, so i guess practice problem solving involved in ur subject, then memorize the things you need to memorize using Anki which is a digital flashcard app. Still practice tests take you far in every subject
>language
Just understand the foundational grammar then its easy, consume content from that language and your brain auto learns that language

Sounds accurate

Also if u want more advice i recommend this :

I dominate language because i learned English online already and my second language i speak at home is already very close to Spanish even though memorizing a few details get difficult. It's much easier then French doe so it's one of few subjects i don't need to heavily worry about. I did the error with history tho since i had good grades in my last school because the Teacher was extremely chill and recent history is easier to remember comparing to Ancient History wich is what i have been studying this month.

Tbh having a long list is probably gonna be a waste of time since so i will need to short list remember doing that error once but i will watch it when the exams end.

Ty i will have to probably solely focus on studying rn because it's the only thing that will benefit me the most rn

Procrastinate until last day then stay up for 24 hours before the test overdosed on caffeine while skimming through the textbook for the first time

Personally, I only study for subjects that I actually care about and I'm interested in while doing the bare minimum for everything else.

for learning english, don’t just memorize a bunch of vocab and grammar. instead, learn specific things that are useful in sentences and that you say a lot. examples:
‘i realized’, ‘as a result’, ‘most importantly’. You don’t even have to do this in a structured manner, just out of curiosity.
focus on these and you’ll realize you can speak a LOT more fluently and can talk about actual things.

if its language in the essay writing sense then it works the same way. starting the essay is the hardest part, so come up with a standard way to do it so you don’t have to think about it from now until the end of time. for instance I start all my essays with some relevant generalization about the subject (‘we live in a society where…’, ‘ever since the dawn of civilization…’)

for any other subject, you need to understand that there is a very efficient way to learn them, and it isn’t what you think.
When I study I don’t
a) do any homework
b) sit there for hours memorizing stuff

Here’s what IS important:
a) understanding the content
b) knowing what kinds of problems might appear and understanding how to solve them

I’ll elaborate on b). The truth is, teachers aren’t creative and there are only a few different ‘types’ of questions that can arise with relation to a certain topic. If you know those, you basically can solve any test without wasting hours of your time on bs homework or ‘practice problems’. You can ask chatgpt something like ‘how is imperfect competition tested microeconomics’ and get a good idea that way. Go through the problems it gives and ask it how to solve each one and genuinely try to understand. You don’t need to ‘memorize’ the way to solve any sort of problem, you will internalize it subconsciously.

I'm not ESL and it's mainly business English.
