it depends on ur perspective in life, if youve been poor ur entire life and youve been limited in making certain important choices due to a lack of money, sure, money is everything. past a certain point, like when you have enough for rent food and a comfortable enough life (which is doable for most ppl if youre not sub 90 iq) money doesnt mean jackshit. i was way happier when i was a broke clueless fag but with a girl that i loved than now when i literally dont even need to work for a couple of years and still have more than enough to do pretty much whatever i want to

In the past, it was a lot more important to be competent and good at the technical details of your job. Nowadays, that can be excused if you show full effort and you're easy to get along with. but somebody with a bad attitude no matter how competent is going to get fired. The best contracts we get at my job seem to come as a result of my boss being extraverted. with how employers are replacing previously sacred white collar jobs with the Jeets, The social aspect is increasingly becoming the only avenue for lucrative contracts. I think Nick Rochefort or whatever, you know Sam Hyde's friend, is on to something when he talks about going into car sales. Inserting yourself at the point of sale like that in a high margin business is a good way to get some money. learning the business you're in and then going to make sales on it might be applicable elsewhere. Stop looking for tech support jobs. Start looking for jobs selling the tech support. sell roadside service. sell Extended Waranties for an extra charge. sell cleaning services. understand the business well enough to address the customer concerns before they bring it up and they will trust you. learn how to bring in money (sales) for these businesses. The social aspect involved in that locks out foreigners. they will never "just get it" the way you will growing up here. For now, I've just got to keep on trucking. one day i will probably try to become a broker or manage the logistics for a small to medium size business
