I'm kind of introverted but I would prefer to talk to someone I enjoy talking too than be alone. It just seems conversation with most people is bland and uninspiring. I can joke around with most people but trying to engage in simple conversation of likes and dislikes is really difficult with a lot of people.

I'm not really a fan of meeting people online, I would much prefer people I can meet up with and talk to in real life. The few online friendships I've had have never lasted long regardless of how close we were.

He explains to me that his neighborhood got their power cut off 8 years ago and the government doesnt care, they cant move out either because mom and father are working class. Same with everyone else i met.

I think normies are just different. They care about stuff, just different stuff. They are as indifferent about meaning, God, or whatever interests you, as you are in their conversations about some normie influencer drama, the gorillionth new hoe they're talking to, or whatever it is that they talk about that you find uninteresting. I don't look down at them for it, I wish I was like them so I could fit in.

Maybe it's different in Eastern Europe, but as a Nordic moving to a major city kinda sucked because of this reason. It's very easy to find/make friends because I'm studying, but everyone is super progressive and it's really alienating when everyone around you is diametrically opposed to you on the most fundamental values.

dont have alot to add to the thread but what i hate the most about not being a normalnigger is that during school im the only guy in my class that doesnt scroll retarded shortform content and doesnt play mobile games. i hang out with the people in my class but we dont share any interests and dont talk about anything that deep.

Slightly offtopic but if you don't want to end up like a normalnigger, a really important step I missed going through (((mainstream education))) is that education is a resource, the institution of education regarding what you should have learned and by when is captured and so you must find your own way to pick apart the useful vs useless information and build on it independently. This is the difference between a degree that's a piece of paper and a degree that belongs to someone who has any shot at getting a job.

The lowest common denominator is inevitable, the problem is that in the digital age the averageness of average people is more manipulable than it has ever been in human history. Think of the difference between someone who grew up in the 80s vs now and then imagine such a difference really existing between someone born in 1480 vs 1520. It just doesn't work. Normies are always going to exist, but they were never meant to be so pliable and weak.
