People used to live up to genuine ideals of love, they tried to improve society. Society used to be cultured, they were once disgusted by shit people just casually admit to these days. I sometimes think about my parents, they are both fairly old and come from very different societies. I know my mother would be utterly disgusted and shocked with how sexualized society is today. Perhaps it doesn't just extend to sexuality, maybe this is part of how degenerate I find modern society and how sad I feel that I couldn't have been born in a time where people actually believed ideals and didn't obsess over (((celebrities))) and stuff like that. Anyone else have similar feelings?

I concur! It's truly one of the most disgusting things of modernity, and it shocks me just how desensitized our youth are to sexual content. Though frankly even adults are victim to it. My parents gladly spout off any sexually explicit meme or joke they saw on instagram any chance they get. I'm probably just sensitive, but such things genuinely bother me.
