I won't disclose my nationality but I was born in my country and I am apart of the ethnic majority here, however I spent most of my childhood in a neighboring country meaning I developed an accent from there, after returning to the homeland I keep getting mistaken for a foreigner and it's annoying to me especially because I'm a nationalist.

for advice i recommend learning your native tongue to a perfect level, this can be achieved by closely paying attention to mouth movements of your countrymen talking, engaging in your culture and traditions to a maximum level like always eating your national cuisine and singing national songs, and most importantly having similar social values and ideals, and the little behaviours and body language matter too
