Do any of you use paid email services?
If so, which ones?

I have a cool domain that I want to use for my email address but I'm struggling to find a service that accepts crypto payments.
So far I've only found Proton, which I don't want to use since they restrict 3rd party client support to the highest paid plan which is way too expensive for how little I'll actually end up using this address.
Cranemail or Purelymail would be perfect if they took crypto, but they both told me to fuck off when I contacted support asking if crypto payments were possible.

>just buy a cheap VPS with crypto and run your own mailserver

Can't be bothered, I've done this in the past and getting Outlook and iCloud to stop rejecting your emails is a massive hassle.

I don't know of any free services that allow you to use custom domains.

And in general, if an online service is "free", you're usually paying with something other than money. For example, Gmail used to openly state in their privacy policy that they scan all of the emails you receive for targeted advertising purposes.
Smaller paid services don't need to stoop to such tricks to make a profit, because their customers just pay them with money upfront.

This checks all my boxes and it's within my budget, cheers.
