BTW OP, tell your boss that the brand lost a sale last year mainly because you can't get a TLX Type S in with a light interior unless you get it in Blue or whatever. We ended up getting an Audi A6 (not an S6, because again: no light interior option on that). These idiotic color combination restrictions are infuriating when you're looking to spend a decent amount of money on a nice new or used car.
I'll also remind your boss for the trillionth time that gloss black plastic is pathetic to the point it's insulting, and any decent wood, like Maple or walnut, should be used in place of plastic trim in premium car brands. Cheap/basic brands can at least go with matte/textured plastic.
