I admit that while I do have friends and even a girlfriend to some extent, I never really felt at home to any fandom or community or group if that makes sense, even on here I just lurk on 'ru and on other boards to get a laugh while, I never feel at home. I sometimes wonder and ask if people like things like the FPE appreciation or Zellig is anyhow any actual genuine sincere love for it or just a bait for teens, I feel like that for alot of stuff online and to extent real life, where everything is tied to a brand or some concept of post irony. It relates to comedy in a way, laughing at terrible shit to feel somthing but actually thinking about the cost of that thing laughing about somthing horrific like kirk or gore is just fucked, granted im not trying to moralfag and say what you can or cannot laugh at, its just that everything is so unserious now that anything actually serious is just a joke, everything has to be a "vibe" to somthing and not actual love of it, I always live in fear about one comment or one thing I say and it will ruin my life, even with my closest friends I always feel im watched by everyone and everything if I dont conform but I just physically cannot conform or wear a mask, im just forced to be by myself internally in my thoughts because im scared that one wrong thing can lead to an end.I wonder if anyone else feels this way.

<soyjakst spaceA lot of the people relate to the social awkwardness bit. You don't really have to be a normie to overcome it, only pretend to be one. Think of it like this: only tell them things that they have to hear. It might make you feel even more isolated, or leave you dissatisfied, but at this point you should reconsider talking to those people.
It takes time, but you will find your circle.
