There is something so appealing about being trapped in the backrooms. Perhaps it is the liminality, the complete detachment from reality, a reality where you have all of the responsibilities of a human life on Earth. None of that exists in the backrooms: it is outside of all space and time, beyond the daily hurdles that one must face.
