>>956484 (OP)This happens to me too.
I often times don't get that overwhelmed, I just have really shitty time management skills and procrastinate studying until an hour or two before a test, whenever I have several days to study.
I've been getting better at it though, last week I spent an hour every single day studying for a test I had in a couple of days.
>do any 'teens have advice for me?I think something useful would to be the 2 minute study method.
Set up your environment, desk or what it may be and set it up to get work.
Work for 2 minutes, you subconsciously want to work for more than that time because you just got started.
It's worked for me most of the time.
<Another study idea I like to do is just work in places out where people can see you.
Whenever I'm alone in my bedroom, because nobody is around me I tend to get distracted, and because there's no societal pressure around me I'm allowed to act like a sperg.
I've been taking this advice to actually go somewhere where I know if I do retarded shit like browse this site in public, I'd look like a retard, but I wouldn't look as retarded as if I did my work in a public library.
<I think the easiest way to get work done is just to try and eliminate the distractions that give you artificial dopamine to make the job easier.
I usually get really stressed out due to thinking of the test and have a tendency to scroll on my phone instead of actually doing everything.
Not having your phone or anything that gives you easy dopamine really helps you focus from what I've learned.
