The writing is highly subjective anyway. If you like cartoon-esque slapstick humour, you'd like season 1, but if you like watching shows for content then you'd probably like season 2.
The lore episodes (usually the beginning and end of each season) are 2 episodes stitched together but you can't just skip these and watch the best one (season 4 finale), because YOU JUST CAN'T DO THAT
