I hope so
â„–951681[Quote]
>>951679why so? i really like programming i don't want random techbros to just ruin it for me out of nowhere
â„–951683[Quote]
>>951681I want to make an evil ai software that will automatically dox anyone I don't like with the least amount of effort so bye bye nigga get replaced
â„–951684[Quote]
It's not at the level of replacing all programmers yet but it's getting pretty good
Worth learning it ig
â„–951685[Quote]
>>951681So the fear comes from solo devs being able to run several agents at once and they code for hours at a time.
You will still need programming skills to manage these agents, so you just need to pivot when the times right.
You can use AI to help with coding now but it's not going to be like that forever, one day you're gonna be script managing 10 different AI bots that will code for several hours for you and then you maintain changes to the code.
This is my take on where we're heading with AI coding, actually knowing how to code will still be vital to making software so don't worry about it.
But SWE jobs? Probably cut by 9/10's maybe. There will still be SWE jobs available, but the demand will dissapear overnight.
Just my 2 cents though,
â„–951686[Quote]
>>951683this is why i dont like AI people have already started to offload thinking to it like complete idiots it doesn't even think for itself it's just a complicated algorithm that turns things into numbers and compares them with numbers from a set of data based off of information that got turned into numbers too its annoying
â„–951687[Quote]
>>951684good at what exactly? just doing the programming for you? i'm really lost at this
â„–951688[Quote]
>>951687Doing my college homework
â„–951689[Quote]
>>951685>10 different AI bots that will code for several hours what kind of fucking vision do you have? we don't need 10 at a time that's just a waste of resources and time
as for the SWE jobs all the vibecoded to hell projects ive seen so far are terrible or do things really inefficiently
â„–951691[Quote]
>>951689Delusional, mass visions of grandeur fueled by the echo chamber that is accelerationist xitter
â„–951693[Quote]
>>951689Okay you probably won't have 10 running in parallel building something at the beginning, but we will get to a point where companies gradually phase out actual humans and give 1 human charge of mulitple bots at once
The tech kind of exists now? It still sucks though, so I wouldn't use it for anything AND it's probably super expensive
â„–951697[Quote]
>>951691i stopped trying to use twitter after i kept seeing stupid shit being said on it all the time there was a ton of infighting and the accounts i followed weren't that worth enduring the dogshit feed for who knows maybe times have changed

>>951691I saw 6 cures for cancer last week alone
Incredible things are constantly happening over here
â„–951699[Quote]
>>951693it's really expensive and stupid anyways wouldn't you be still just recycling the same data since it would be the same model
â„–951701[Quote]
>>951697You gotta follow max 10 people and they all have to be accounts that write articles about new techy stuff
THen you'll only ever see cool shit, I don't get memes or anything I click 'not interested' on anything distracting like that.
Super healthy! I can't relax while using it so I'm not hooked either
â„–951702[Quote]
>>951698how fucking optimistic are these guys
â„–951703[Quote]
>>951701i followed a ton of accounts based off of things i liked but i still ended up seeing stupid accounts that shilled porn actors or meaningless stuff that i don't even know ended up on my feed
â„–951704[Quote]
>>951699Exactly, I can't describe how it will work or how its meant to work, because it doesn't even exist rn. But this is the direction they are going, so just be aware of that.
>>951702You've never seen anything like it. THey will not stop talking about asymptotic acceleration and living forever.
I FUCKING LOVE IT
â„–951705[Quote]
>>951703Gotta start again from scratch.
Select only technology and science as your interests
DOn't watch or interact with anything that is meant to be funny or entertaining, and click not interested when you see that shit
â„–951707[Quote]
>>951704but even then i think that it's a dumb idea and is like opening 10 instances of short form content platforms on multiple monitors and having them automatically scroll on all of them for you
why do people see immortality as something good? ive seen it as a curse
â„–951708[Quote]
>>951705do those types of posts only come up when i find something funny that i like? what a retarded platform
â„–951710[Quote]
>>951707I can't talk about immortality because it's a super schizophrenic topic of conversation that belongs elsewhere but in this thread.
>>951708The SECOND you interact with any post at all that's entertaining, it's over for your feed.
I literally get research papers on my twitter feed nigga. You have to actually read the stuff though
â„–951711[Quote]
>>951710does this mean i have to get art i like elsewhere too?
â„–951713[Quote]
>>951711I have mulitple x accounts for all my interests.
X sucks for showing you everything you like IMO, it's good to section your interests with accounts
â„–951714[Quote]
>>951713making multiple accounts is bad for privacy or so i've heard so i really don't want to do that again
â„–951715[Quote]

â„–951718[Quote]
>>951714Not if you're literally a completely different person with different posting behaviour on each account
â„–951719[Quote]
>>951718why is bothering with that a good idea if the whole goal is to just get a decent feed you might as well not post and i've tried controlling multiple identities in the past it really sucks
â„–951721[Quote]
>>951719Then don't post
You don't have to, but having some primary accounts is good for opsec
â„–951724[Quote]
>>951721that's the whole plan
>primary accountswhat does this mean
â„–951726[Quote]
>>951724You facefag and IRL namefag and post normie shit that makes you look like a literal who
â„–951727[Quote]

â„–951731[Quote]
>>951727I post pics of the sunset and hills and shit
YOu literally just appear as an alive person and they won't suspect you of anything else
â„–951732[Quote]
>>951731interesting concept but it seems too easy to mess up i hear a lot about fingerprinting and tracking people really well

Use fucking google chrome and turn off your vpn and comment under posts completely unrelated to your interests KEK
â„–951750[Quote]
>>951736what about other accounts then? do i use a vpn on all of them regardless?
â„–951751[Quote]
i swear i sent my post but it said the integrity check failed and i had to try again

>>951675 (OP)You're doing yourself a favor. This "you're going to get left behind" schizobabble is just jewish FOMO tactics.
There are tons of cases of people who used AI to "learn" not even knowing basics of their programming language they chose.
(see this one for example
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6GjnVM_3yM)
There are other cases of people who already knew how to code forgetting the syntax of simple for-loops because of how reliant they have become on AI doing it for them.
AI "programmers" will also never experience the gratification of finally solving a problem completely by themselves.
