i used to be a sucker for desktop environments like kde a while ago but i've taken the wmpill and now i've tried to make my shit as simplistic as possible since it's nice and fast
haven't even bothered to set up a wallpaper since i have no clue what to set it to, having nothing is fine to me ig

i prefer dwm to bspwm but i can't be bothered to switch since my good dwm config is on my fartix laptop and i'm too lazy to transfer them over to my pc so i've just been using bspwm since it just werks for me

it's stable and just werks
i used to run arch beforehand but my system kept getting bloat so i just decided to restart from scratch using gentoo and i like it
use flags are aryan, emerge is amazing, not much else to say about it other than it's fast and nice
it takes about 20 seconds to go from boot to bspwm which is amazing because it would probably take me close to a minute to boot up and into my DE on arch using soystemBBC, glad i'm using openrc now since it's less of a headache
i just like how everything is fast and stable, compiling shit does take forever and when i update my system i usually leave it overnight while it uses up my entire CPU but it's not that big of a deal for me
if you don't mind configuring things and waiting for compilation it's perfect
