hi sorry i'm off on lunch break now so i'll talk now
>ended up finishing early so i don't have to go in tomorrow anyway (6 hour paper that's meant be sat over two 3 hour sessions, i finished in 2 hours today)nigga just doing it for the love of the game at this point
i respect that but i'd feel like an asshole if i did that so i'd probably just skip
>when calculators and scrap paper are allowed it's just a matter of understanding the rules which anyone can doi've had maybe like two tests this entire semester where i could use a calculator on
physics is incredibly easy to me since it kinda just feels like that, it's just understanding equations and plugging things in
i've gotten much better at it though
i struggled with math a lot during middle/high school because my parents decided to put me 3 grades ahead of the math i was supposed to be taking when i was just barely doing good enough in math in elementary school
the upside of being kinda shit at math is that i'm atleast very good at science, history and english so i can easily pass those without even trying because they're much easier than the ones i took previously
i remember when i first took the ACT i remember getting fairly high scores for science english and reading but getting below average scores for math even though literally everyone i know said that the reading and science were the hardest parts and the math was the easiest
>i did pretty much nothing yesterday since i don't have college on tuesdaysnice
same ig lol
first half of college i didn't really do shit
second half i'll probably have to do shit
>>907898what's it like getting a license over there in england?
>learner plateswhat is this bro
some retards just put on like "i'm a new driver please don't kill me" stickers on the back of their cars but that's just about it
<for my experience i remember when i was 15 and a half (legal age to get a permit in my state) i had to do a driving class that was 7 hours long for 2 days
it was basically just us mostly reading our driver manual and taking notes on it
mostly just doing general driving procedures, what all the signs mean, what to do in certain situations, warnings for people and all of that
i do remember them showing us shit like a gore movie about what could happen if we text and drove which was pretty funny
there were a lot of car crash compilations we had to watch
i also remember them giving us free food
we did a mock test at the end of it and then we had to go to somewhere to take the real test which apparently my brothers both failed like 3 times because they kept studying online instead of studying the manual which is where all the questions came from
i got like a 16/20 which was good enough to pass and get my permit which was really close since i needed a 15 to passa
they have to have you get 50 hours of driving experience before you're able to get your license when you turn 16 but they never actually check so you can just lie about it, i do remember getting a vast majority of my driving experience by driving with my mom and dad whenever they would drop/pick me up from school which was good
anyways, when i signed up for that class they had 3 separate driving times i could do with certain instructors
basically it was just me and one of the instructors going on free drives around the city
the first one was the first time i ever drove and i remember spending the vast majority of it being really stupid in a church parking lot, then i remember doing on the roads and in a neighborhood (it was literally my first time in a car)
the second time was mostly just the same of that, i just remembered driving in the country a lot which meant i could go fast and there was hardly any traffic which was nice, roads were empty too
the third one was the final one where they'd test me over, they had me do shit like uphill/downhill parking, emergency stops and other things like that. which i had to pass incase i wanted to get my license
i was able to practice a bit beforehand with my instructor so thankfully i passed
i literally don't even know how i passed because i accidentally hit the curb like a retard when i got pretty close to a stop sign and tried to turn right which should've been an automatic criteria for failure and also did a downhill park instead of an uphill park on one of the parking ones i had to do and my instructor didn't look too pleased but i managed to pass that somehow with an 84%??? not sure how i did it but i'm glad
and then after that, it's when i got my license because i just turned 16 and passed the class so i was able to drive on my own
it's a lot more retarded if you do it whenever you're a teen instead of an adult because you have to do like the driving classes first, if you're an adult all you have to do is the test and then the final driving test to get your permit but i had to do a bunch of other shit since i was a caca
