Here's a strat I used in college:
Take a tampon. Preferably a high quality one without any weird chemicals, so look for ones advertised as "natural." Cut off the end that doesn't get inserted (the back end) and soak the inside with high-proof alcohol. You can start with like 25 proof but I've used up to 125-150 proof before. Shove it up your butt and hold it so that it doesn't leak out. Then let it sit there for a few hours. Pour some water down it if you must or if it starts feeling dry. You'll soak up the alcohol through anal permeation and you won't have to taste it.
