Those captchas are at least fair.

Recaptcha is the worst because the puzzle itself has very little bearing on whether you pass or fail.
If Google doesn't like your IP, it'll serve you dozens of puzzles and gaslight you with fails even if you got every single one right.
And I found out today that this works in reverse too. I realised I'd answered wrong right after clicking verify yet it told me I passed anyway because my IP had a good reputation.
