the loser described in this thread is just like me, even down to the country he lives in
talking to him was extremely frustrating because he'd shut down any suggestions for solving the problems he was whining about with excuses like "Im poor", "everyone avoids each other unless they know them", etc
just like i would
the real reason he has no friends is he doesn't make an effort to speak to anybody ("quiet" in his own words)
when i asked what he likes doing, the only things i got out of him were "play Crossout on my shitty laptop" and "scroll the booru for funny slopjaks"
so he likely has no hobbies, interests, or skills either and therefore nothing to talk about, another reason he doesn't have any friends
if you cloned him and put it in the same room as him, they would not become friends because neither of them would try talking to the other

if the OP of that thread ends up reading this, sorry for ripping into you like this
i'm using you to attack myself in 3rd person since i'm guilty of the same things
the .flac voice recordings in that thread are mine if you want to get even by making fun of my voice

that was very selfish of me and if i were a good friend i would have let you go instead of trying to convince you to stay

this revelation is a whitepill though, because if the root cause of all my problems is myself then i can just fix myself
in the past my problems were caused by external factors beyond my control but they're gone now
yet like this bear and its imaginary cage, i was acting like my problems were still out of my control even though that's not the case anymore
glad i realised the cage was just in my head at 19 and not 90

now i just need to figure out what i could talk to people about
the sharty is almost definitely a no-go, which is a shame because i have so many stories and anecdotes involving it that'd be interesting for tech-inclined people
maybe i should get back into gaming so i can talk about video games, i have a high end pc now after wanting one for the last 5 years but i've not played a single game on it
the only thing i use that pc's gpu for is playing with local LLMs, which could also make for an interesting conversation topic but i'm pretty sure i'm the only nerd in the class who does stuff like that

i never really understood the point of adding censorship to these ai models if they were releasing it to be ran locally, it wouldn't be their fault if someone does something racist or whatever other thing isn't it? just slam a big "we are not responsible for whatever this makes hurr durr" somewhere

i hope you can find proper friends

we are two men that talk occasionally
when you find a friend you will know it
unironically try to make friends irl. everybody says "but i cant talk about the sharty with irl people!" but nobody shows their 100% real self to people except their family.
if that sounds bad you can try to make friends on the sharty but unironically look for people your age. it's weird if you're 19 texting a 16 year old friend, you should look for people who are adults too. and look for people with your interests. just make a thread and see who cares, you can talk for a long time and swap tripcodes or emails.
its easier to get irl friends than online real friends because irl you share the same job and boss and shifts. unironically. you can talk about shared life shit until you get close.
