On Saturday, 28th February, 2026, Cat Katerovich also known as Catter online has passed away at the age of 20 at around 20:43 from a drug overdose. Many of you do not know this but Catter struggled with depression so he dealt with it through addiction such as nicotine, alcohol, and opoid addiction. While many of us including Broot and Doll urged him to stop and seek a better way of coping with stress and depression, he refused to listen. He didn't want to get better because he thought there was no reason to. This deeply saddened us as we truly saw him as a good friend. Catter has a loving family and many friends who love him dearly. In his work, his coworkers said they all enjoyed working with him even despite the darkness he had in his heart. I hope people would be more aware of what goes on inside the minds of jannies and how they suffer for their volunteer work. The constant harassment from others for his thankless work pushed him to near suicide and eventually his overdose. We should show our gratitude to those people who feel alone and show them that they are loved and wanted. We should take our time to understand how others feel before doing or saying anything to them as that could be the difference between them living happily with their family and friends and an early grave. I already donated my money in honor of Catter and hope drug abuse will eventually be a thing of the past but for now we will have a moment of silence for Catter and hope he rests peacefully now.
