The Bedrock code is while on one hand extremely outdated C++, on the other hand it is very elegant because it follows Mojang Java style. You cannot blame them for this because it was written before we had things like nested namespace declarations (to match Java package declarations), smart pointers instead of raw new/delete, and NULL instead of nullptr, I could probably find more examples if I looked harder
Someday it would be nice to go through this code and clean it up and update it to C++23
