surprisingly aseprite also works well as a 'jakking tool. I didn't buy it thoughever I just compiled it from source instead because the source code is available even if you didn't buy it

-being able to select bucket tolerance
-turning on/off anti aliasing and hardness
-magic wand
-lasso, copy/pasting
-transparency
-gradient
-effects (there are a lot)
-being very beginner friendly

it only lacks brushes but if you arent a drawfag you wouldnt need them
