It feels like we are on the precipice of something so terrible that it will make the 20th century look like a slight moral and economic speedup for the human race. With AI promising a lose/lose situation for everyone on earth and the economy being in a state of defacto recession only being in the black by smudging numbers and shoddy investments it feels like im the next year and the years following it we will see a global cataclysm of unprecedented proportions in the history of our species. At best the collapse of the dominance of the western middle class or at worse the complete erasure of our species. Something akin to the wars from On the Beach or The Shape of Things to Come
