How are late-night walks in your country?

 â„–226489[Quote]

I stopped doing them year after I ended university. Although there were always some students partying around dormitory, so I didn't feel completely alone even if I didn't interact with them.
I was like trying to make some task for laboratories (it was always some program because I was studying compsci) and I was working on it from 18:00 to midnight and I just had to make a walk to refresh my brain before I went to sleep. The neighborhood was gigasafe because there were mainly students and middle class buildings with few blocks and lots of parks.

Idk, it's a big city, so crowded neighborhoods with older building are still more dangerous. Although I'm happy the biggest threst are only drunkards, less people take hard narcotics here.
I ended my CS studies in 2021 and I was kinda happy of it, even though 60% of it wasn't important in my job, but rather mathematic studies of algorithms. But I liked it because I like math, also I still have contact with 5 friends I met during these studies. Then I moved to some capitalist blocks (we call them "deweloperskie bloki", because enterpreneurs or companies who build them are called "deweloper") in the far north of the city and it has much less sovl than the neighborhood around dormitories. Also there is one tram/bus stop between me and the city centre that is more dangerous than usually and my friend and manager who both live there said about some wild noises at 3 am. I wonder if new blocks will be like that when I will be old.

Awful. Just awful. Everything about going for walks here is terrible. Sidewalks are impossible to use 90% of the time. There are tree branches hanging over them and garbage cans blocking the entirety of the sidewalk, making it completely unusable. Makes me wonder, why would they even bother make sidewalks that are completely unusable? I hate it here

yeah, there is a severe lack of oppurtinties, good institutions for someone to improve their lives while having shitty salaries and extremely expensive living expenses, to compare our economy with russia and china, we earn less than them while things cost more here, if westerners think russia is poor, we're poorer than that. Theres a lot of purposeless alcoholic men here, and its every child's dream to go to a foreign country so they can live a nice life with salaries that can afford a good life instead of living with debt just to afford basic needs

Do you live in a rural area with a lot of wild animals?

Have you ever gotten into conflict with drunks? How are drunkards in poland?
Hows the CS job market there? Is remote work available?
>I wonder if new blocks will be like that when I will be old.
Probably, when commie blocks were first built they were probably sovlless compared to the villages which people came from but now commie blocks are sovlful and modern apartments are sovlless

Yeah, I live in a village and the only place I can take a walk to is the forest, I'm pretty sure I even saw a wolf once
