Well, honest with you - Russia it's just ripped off melting pot from US, but partially without Black people, but with more White and Asian people (depends on the region of course, for example I am more close to Asian part of Russia.)
About certain ethnic groups well, Idk, I barely differentiate them (Only limit with White/Black/Asian/Muslim/Arab and so on) :/

Well, depends on the region (Currently I have around -17C or 1F or 256K). But it could get lower (-30C or -22F or 243K in the mid of the winter season) So basically, it's probably common to Canada weather

Uhm, I don't think that Norilsk is actually partially restricted (or maybe, I don't know, because I don't know what do you mean by "partially restricted"). But we have like
Closed administrative-territorial entity (closed territories which are not easy to get into it because they are fully dedicated for military/other dangerous purposes) It has like around 38 closed territories

№225966[Quote]
>>225964Well, Russia is very big country in general. If talking about travelling between two towns, which are located especially far from each other - it's not that hard, but it's really depends on the transport of course (airplane>everything else, but airplane sometimes could be freaking expensive, so trains would long, but cheap option.)
About internal travel that only limits your own town, well that's depends what kind of town are you living. But there is next scheme/correlation that I spotted - the bigger is town then it takes long time to travel hypothetically from point A to point B. (In my case, it's not - I live in small town, not a village, but at the same time - not look like as Yekaterinburg or St.Petersburg. For travelling to my uni - it takes me around 15-20 mins on my feet, For shops/points where you can afford food and other consumables - 5-10 mins. That's why I love my town so much, it has pretty enough points of interests/useful locations and still it's very compact)

Other cities/towns/villages are racist/xenophobic trash - so, it would be very doubtful that you gonna live here so well.

>>226431Yeah, a lot, I couldn't say the concrete number, but I am sure it's more than 10 parks (quite surprised me, knowing that my town is very compact). Well, I visited around 5 or 6 of them. I am not gonna tell their names (for my own privacy + I am kinda paranoid). But anyway:
1) "Dream Garden Park" - quite nice and beautiful, most of the people are like it (including foreigner). Lots of green plants and different bushes (calm atmosphere in general). Besides, it has small zone for animals, but most of them are bunnies, you can also buy carrot sticks and feed them. It has different entertaining zones, like trampoline and riding boats. Also, if you're hungry then not a problem - it has small cafe where you can afford coffee, tea, pancakes and ice cream with different flavor. Price: 2 or 3 dollar for each person.
2) "Victory Park" - park that dedicated to soldiers (mostly male) who fought in World War the Second. It's nothing fancy, and it has less green plants, the road is paved with tiles. But it has lots statues and memorial plates (about memorial plates - very doubtful, cuz I was there once). And it has signature sightseeing - Eternal flame (represents the people's memory of the fallen heroes, fighters for freedom, for the honor of the Motherland). And don't even try to put out the fire - you will be arrested or you will have a huge fine :/
Price: Free for all
3) "Makeover Park" - park that located right next to "Dream Garden Park", just a huge open area with grass with added some asphalt roads. Shortly: just a nice and chill place, you can land your ass and touch some grass, or if you don't want to get dirty - it has lots of benches where you can land. This park has 3 huge fountains and the "Love Tree" where newlyweds put their heart shaped lock as the sign of eternal love. And it has couple of statues (but I only remember one - the angel statue). Besides it has couple playground for children.
Price: Free for all
4) "Little Eagle Park" - park, but with lots of playground and other fun zones, mostly for kids and much less entertaining zones for adults. Only sitting on benches, or going to play chess.
Price: Free for all, but some things for kids (like carousel or riding on small train) costs money :/
5) "Mountain of Love" - not park, but still amazing sightseeing, but it opens a huge view on the town. Foreigners (especially who has a significant other) love that place, not only because of the cool photos… It's because it helps you to spend your time alone, with your soulmate. Also, it's one of the place where high school alumnus spend their last time with their mates (this where I last time saw all my jerkmates btw :/)
6) "Relaxation Zone Park" - A giant park, focus on sport and spending time on fresh air, friendly to all to most small vehicles. It has a beach and safe space swimming zone with a bridge (where people jump off to have a cool dive into the water, don't blame them). This is actually one of my favorite parks, because it reloads your brain while riding there on the E-Scooter.
But anyway, I don't visit park so often nowadays, because I am CS Hikkimori who doesn't see any significant sense to go out from the apartments

As an IT guy actually, not many. I mean Russia is trying to promote AI/AI related jobs as magic pill that will fix all problems. Mostly, they promoting AI developer (not prompt engineer) and most uni/college majors are related to AI development (not trustworthy info btw, because I didn't checked all uni, only few that located nearby.)
I don't work right now(I need to finish, I will finish it in summer 2026). If I had a chance to be hired, I wish I could work for a any good foreign country than in motherland (no junior positions + hiring as process broken asf + very poor salary for a person who already had to have 1-3 commercial experience and who gonna be happy to work for food, yeah, good luck to find that type of person).
It's possible to work remotely, but not all company could offer you that, which is very strangely to me :/

They are NOT wonderful as Internet portraits you. Yeah, they got certain advantages in physical attraction, not gonna lie, but as the person (for me) - they are the most boring type of person I ever met IRL/Internet, only units are worth my attention :/.
But Idk, if you're a foreigner, ofc they are gonna love you (but beware of green card marriage or marriage for having foreign citizenship), but still you (as foreigner) you got major chance.
