It's not like apartheid because every race will be equal and it will be a meritocracy just like the original. Rhodesia didn't even have apartheid that was south Africa and the only race based restriction in the whole country was land which was meant to allow Africans to keep their ways of life if they desired.

The goal of Rhodesia was to make a multiracial country but a shit ton of factors led to it failing.

But the cause of downfall of these countries were parties like zanu or anc which are socialist cleptocracies and mix of it and African collectivist social organization. I mean that if you are moderately rich like doctor, then you must share the wealth with your family for free.
I don't know about Rhodesia, but South Africa did terribly to Africans, I mean they stole most of lands from Africans and did some shit like bantustans where Africans were crowded they still cannot mentally recover from this to the point they still think communism is good. This probably doesn't exist in Zambia, Botswana or Namibia (maybe it's also fault of the of different kinds of african parties, because Namibia was also controlled by RSA and also had reservations).

If I recall correctly the Rhodesian government was attempting to import tons of whites into Rhodesia but all of the whites left due to the country destabilizing and terror groups starting the Rhodesian war. The British government was also funding these groups and forcing Rhodesia to stop it's meritocracy policies despite the Rhodesian government being willing to cooperate with the British government to slowly make it majority rule.
