We are not doing towny
there will however be a clan feature similar to what we had on Soycraft 3, no claims.
Also a party and friends system, the latter will probably be used more.

It won't affect regular gameplay besides you being able to teleport to your friends which would already be possible with tpa.

Buff drufs, but they are now more expensive, and add them to the loot tables as above

Within 500 blocks of spawn is sacred area, build privileges should go only to janitorial team, and verified oldsois who played the past servers.
within 1,5k is grey area which is maintained by janjans and helpers but anyone can build here. This is where you host build battles, make important infrastructures and shit.
Beyond that limit you worldedit in an actual thick wall, past that is no man's land, griefable without punishment.

I would be fine with guns as long as they are not more OP then maxed out bows. Also allow them to pierce shields, i hate shields if you couldn't tell. Maybe make then OP, but they would need to be uncraftable and extremely rare, like more rare then enchanted golden apples (not the craftable ones). Also add a durability to them, so that players would need to actually save their OP weapons for big fights (DO NOT MAKE GUNS ENCHANTABLE (MENDING!))

Also mods / plugins are a must if you are not going to make the server 1.8.9 or older because nu pvp sucks. Clearly the first server failed due to the way it was run, so lets not just make a clone of the old server, unless you just want to reset sc3… I do believe that factions or skyblock would make the serve more interesting, but if you dont want that then at lest add claims, otherwise there will never be any conflict and its going to end up being a DNB buildfag server like sc3… maybe add a place where there is some kind of special loot every weekend or better loot or better spawn rates or whatever will get players to want this place. this would a reason for players to form factions and trying to take this place. This will make the server more alive.

tpa is kinda op, would be better to have teleports like in sc2, which were expensive and you would need to set the location and lock them down to faction players only.

i think a build limit of 100k by 100k would be needed in order to avoid players going in the middle of nowhere, which sc3 implemented.

If anything, add PvE at least, i know you are a buildfag / artfag mis- i mean tenor.
