I really never got why people complained about "joshipedos" until I started the joshi general. I just wanted to share matches mostly, kind of like I'm doing in this thread. Rossy, the guy who started Stardom, was fired last year for poaching talent to start his new company (he knew the writing was on the wall). Mayu wanted to go with him but didn't because she had a year on her contract and they made a movie about her life story so she stayed on to promote it.
She connects well because, despite being very good, she is also personally quite clumsy, a bit goofy, and is prone to things like getting lost in new cities. WWE had expressed interest in her but she's not really interested in leaving Japan because she has her apartment, her dogs, her life, and is happy with that.
