i genuinely enjoyed the various series more than i expected. there's a lot of multimedia shit to get into. i havent played any of the digimon story games but i hear that they are kino.
i have also not seen a single person larp this shit either its real otaku niggas only.

i only thought it was a game and i never watched or read it, thank you for making this thread and making me aware of it

it's multimedia o algo which means there's a ton of media from games. it was originally just tamagotchi for aryans but branched out
it's hard to give anime recs but anything from tamers onwards is it's own contained story, so pick whatever you like. i started with tamers personally.
right now i've been going through the original adventure anime in sub and i plan to start beatbreak after.
