Recently i watched s3 of SxF. Ts has always been bait, but s3 made me bite.
SxF is bait because the writer for it clearly has the ability to write a masterpiece rom-drama between loid and yor, but he does slice of life kindergarten bs instead.
i HATE anya, the story would a hundred times better without her, but the dynamic and story between yor and loid is so good that i sit through the school stuff. every season there's a glistening gem of a moment that keeps me coming back to SxF.
S3 had so much potential to be amazing, and it was held back by aforementioned anya faggery. the story was beginning to pick up pace, slightly, and that was enough for me to read the manga. and the rest of the manga after s3 was actually pretty good, less anya bs.
i heard from a fellow 'teen that mangaka originally just wanted the story to be about loid and yor and the editors at whatever magazine raped him into adding anya. im not sure that this is true, but it fits my mental narrative so i won't check geg.
tl:dr it makes my clitty leak because it has wasted potential
