im reading fate at the moment and what i feel tsukihime did alot better was making the characters feel real they all have their own struggels and the story directly impacts how they feel i mean same goes for fate but its really lacking it worked well enough in the fate route for shirou and saber but on ubw something felt very lacking to me i think that also effected the remake the remake still had its great character moments but often it focused alot more on the spectical of fights but i still think the remake did it alot better than fate
