I like some anime but I was anti-slice of life and anti-moe. I'd troll azumanga-fags and lucky star fags every day, and my friend who likes this shit says "have you even watched KON?" I said "no of course not" and he said "how can you hate it then?"

So just to prove him wrong I watch KON, I watch the whole thing. And I thought long and hard about it.

Slice of life can be kino but it's hardly done right. You'd unironically need a A24, no jumpscare, character driven auteur to pull it off.
