It's not. In fact, it's what what introduced me to the infamous "Vivziepop style" of writing that normies mock before everyone conceptualized it. It's incredibly reddit in its attempts to be mature by being vulgar as possible with its swears and gore and the best part is that it tries to be clever by looking for a "secular" reason why vampires are scared of crosses GEG. All which is apparently stolen from another book which doesn't even make sense in this very show but redditors will eat it up anyway and think it's genius.

It goes full blown commiepedotroon by Nocturne doebeit. There's now full blown gay vampire sex scenes with white colonialist tragic backstories. Speaking of which: they literally niggerized the protagonist's girlfriend and gave her said backstory as well. The magic system of this world screwed by this point too; nigger religions are valid and real but white peepo christianity is fake and evil (but their means to purge off demons still works somehow).

This is the same Netflix studio that did the DMC "anime" which was thankfully panned by normies like Nocturne. That show literally shoved in a George Bush satire in fucking 2024 and made the demons mudslides rapefuges geg. Also Lady swears a lot adding to the aforementioned Vivziepop writing.
