not a fan of romance media in general, but I enjoyed Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou, it's a wholesome gem
the GODtier old Gainax animation definitely helps

i wrote someting pretty stupid and vague in OP but this was exactly the type of anime i was searching for and now i feel like i can move on from the romance genre because now im satisfied and i probably wont find anything better or i guess that suits me better as far as romance anime go
even with its problems, im glad this board exists because some of the gemmiest anime i have seen were shilled by soyteens on here (especially that one oldfag)

If you want something a bit more "complex" you would enjoy Clannad, the above two are more of a comedic romance but Clannad is a drama and more "serious"
