What seperates an unthinking rock from a sentient animal to a sapient human? A dog is sentient, but it cannot think about thinking. A computer can be made to be many times more complex than the mind of a human yet it isnt actually smart, even with independent sensors. The human mind is an incredibly complex array designed to host a consciousness in the material world. Like how the nervous system runs the body while being simultaneously part of the whole but seperate. We cannot survive outside this form.
