The entertainment industry is an extremely corrupt and cruel company that profits from the wasted lives of its consumers, but THAT'S NOT ALL. Later I discovered that YES, we live in a simulation, and the entertainment industry is precisely the piece that connects EVERYTHING. The owners of the simulation created the entertainment industry so that the masses would waste their lives on useless nonsense like video games or watching movies, but I was left out of their equation. By creating a simulated world with all kinds of probabilities, they included the probability that someone who hates entertainment discovers that entertainment is a facade to cover up the horrible reality: WE LIVE IN A SIMULATION! These alienated people in the simulated society that we are, and that they created, don't know about animated series or gastronomy. It's a world we can't conceptualize because we're used to a world of entertainment; they've already brainwashed us. All THEY do is observe us for their amusement.
It would seem that's all there is to it, wouldn't it? That we live in a simulation and that the entertainment industry is a farce to cover it up. Well, it turns out that watching a simulation you created is also a form of entertainment. COULD IT BE THAT WE LIVE IN A SIMULATION WITHIN A SIMULATION?!
