If so is it hard to accomplish? What's it feel like please no jewtube bs. Also did you gain the ability to lucid dream?

I don't think astral projection is real. I've been trying it for around a decade with no success. But lucid dreams are real and You can do it with a little bit of work and nice sleep schedule. As a kid I was able to lucid dream after 2 days of dream journaling and WBTB. Neuroplasticity or something. As I get older it becomes harder. Occasionally I have to help myself with food supplements (not drugs). Some lucid dreams can feel so real that people naturally mistake them for "astral" and anyone who actually talks about astral projection just talks about really realistic lucid dreams.

Okay thanks for being honest. Is there any after affects of a lucid dream or is it just like a normal one?

I wouldn't say there are any serious aftereffects. I think it happened to me once that I was really unsure whether a lucid dream I had a few days prior was a lucid dream or an event that actually happened in waking life. Besides that, I cannot think of any.

Any tips besides dream journaling?

Dream journaling, reality checks and WBTB are staple. No food 4 hours before bed and going to bed every day around the same time helps a lot too. Don't sleep too much. 9 - 10 hours a day max. Benefits for LD aren't there. Buy some sleeping mask. You'll start noticing awakenings in the middle of the night. Sleeping mask will help you keep your eyes closed so you can stay in that liminal space between sleep and wakefulness better. Give it around two weeks so you can build up your dream recall. After that you can go and start trying some LD methods. Doesn't really matter which. Best to try them all for at least a month each. You'll find which works for you and which doesn't.

I dont want to act like a retard but have you been able to get people to replicate your success? Because I can only recall having one lucid dream.

Also did you mean just a normal cloth sleeping mask or like a red light thing?

I am not someone who sells LD courses. I don't know if anyone I gave advice managed to get LDs. You must understand that nothing is more personal to you than what you have in your head. That's very hard to offer advice about. What I am telling you is just the most basic general advice. The rest like, for example, length of WBTB, LD methods, sleep length of 1st phase, REM phases, sleep schedule, meditation, REM rebound, supplements, type of bed is something you'll have to experiment around yourself. I can tell you how exactly I am trying to lucid dream, but I don't think it'll be of any use to you. And I'd love to point out that dont have 100% lucid dream rate. Keep that in mind. As for the sleeping mask. The cloth sleeping mask works best for me. Try to find something that covers your eyes and ears. Something with velcro as it can be as tight as you might need. It's better than those cheap sleeping masks with rubber bands.

Does astral projecting within a dream count and how would you tell the difference between a dream that coincidentally mirrors reality & the genuine article (real astral projection). There was one time I was outside the house near my sleeping body at night (both night irl and in the dream) and saw what I assume to be a ghost cat. Possibly the same cat that might've died near here a while ago. Another time I astral projected in a dream when it was daytime and saw my vision leave my body behind & I made the observation that the birds could perceive my presence (reacting to my current position instead of where my body was left behind) even though they shouldn't be able to see me. Maybe there's a sixth sense and that's why people sometimes feel like they're being watched.
