Nobody could figure out where they'd went. But they all had the same thing in common - every one of them were shut-ins, obsessed over shit nophono cares fan about, and cared more passionately than anyone.
Since then, a few of us were put in charge of keeping tabs on them. I thought nothing much of it at the time, after all, they were probably just 41%ing themselves.
But one night I was tipped off that one of them had left their house.
It was 3 am, so I didn't think much of it; they usually go to buy snacks around this time given their sleep schedules, and more importantly, to not have to see anyone from way back in high school while they're out.
But then I was told that he wasn't in his car; he was walking. I rushed to the scene, but right as I was turning the corner into that very alleyway, I heard a yelp, and saw what I can only assume to be nophono himself dragging him in the darkness.
Before I could do anything, both of them were gone.
What you're seeing here is all my nostalgic Sony EVW-300 Hi8 bodycam (standard issue at the time) could capture on tape before suddenly shutting off.
We don't know why nophono is doing this, but we have theories.
If it's shit only nophono cares about, could he be viewing these obsessed 'cord freaks as competition? Could this be what happens if someone cares about something as much as him?
We might not ever know. But what I do know from this is that you should never care too much.
