This shit gets glazed to hell and back, but for a good reason, almost every other japrpg is a horribly paced slop with large segments of mindless grinding, nothing happening or "where the fuck do I go" gameplay
In chrono triggered the game is very well paced + they at least tried making the basic jrpg turned based combat somewhat interesting
